Hey, hey beauties! Can you believe its already MAY?! I can’t, not even a little bit. My mom always told me time flies as you get older but holy cow! the year is almost half way over. EEEK! Well I’m not here to freak out about how life is slipping through my hands, this is a beauty blog so lets get to talking about my ABSOLUTE favorite beauty products I haven’t been able to keep my hands off this last month, shall we? 🙂

Too Faced Chocolate Bar Eye Shadow Palette:

O.M.G this palette is absolutely amazeballs! I am a die hard Kat Von D eye shadow fan but these shadows are some of the most pigmented, satin finish, and opaque shadows I have ever used. They blend so seamlessly, and product transfers very nicely and doesn’t bleed! I will say, because this stuff is so creamy it will give you grease crease easily if you don’t use a primer. That is the only complaint I have about this eye shadow but other than that, its so worth it. The color’s are a beautiful range of neutrals with a perfect mix of matte, and shimmer shadows. Oh also it smells like chocolate, this palette is literally delicious haha!

Urban Decay Naked Skin Concealer:

I really like this stuff, its a very interesting formula, its a light weight concealer that is literally full coverage. It has a very liquid consistency, which means it will crease if you don’t set it with a powder. I am so impressed with the coverage though, when you first put it on its slightly deceiving with how light it is but wow this stuff really does cover! And it WILL stay all day if you set it like your supposed to 😉 There have been a few times I didn’t set this stuff as well as I should of and it creased, broke up, and looked absolutely terrible. But when I set it the right way, this stuff is amazing.

Benefit Dandelion Blush:

So this is an oldie but a goodie I have owned this blush for about a year and I have used it off an on, but for some reason it’s the only blush I have been picking up lately! Maybe its because its this pretty light pink color, that just reminds me of spring. I love love love love this blush! it smells like flowers too, Benefit actually created this product to me more of a highlighting powder but it works perfect as a blush for my pale skin! Its a very light color, so don’t be afraid to pile it on, I have to add quite a bit for it to show up on me, but sometimes I get a little heavy handed and have to fix it so I don’t have bright pink all over my cheeks. hah!

Because this blush is such a light color, I do not recommend it for darker complexion skin tones, I would recommend  Nars Orgasm or a blush that has more rose, peachy undertones.

Laura Mercier Translucent Setting Powder:

I LOVE THIS STUFF! This is the BEST translucent powder to “Bake” your face. It will stay all day and keep your face from creasing! I use this to set my face all the time and my make up will stay all day. (helpful hint) use a beauty blender to apply this you will transfer more product onto your face and it will oxidize and keep your make up from melting off your face. This stuff is a little pricey but I believe it’s totally worth the splurge!

Anastasia Beverly Hills Clear Brow Gel:

This is the holy grail brow product, I use this everyday even if I’m not wearing make up because it is literally super glue for your eye brows! I love that kind of edgy unruly eye brow look (not to unruly or bushy, think Gigi Hadid). I love this product because it holds my brows in place all day! I have longer brow hairs than a normal woman should haha, and they are dark, so I don’t use a lot of brow products cause I don’ need too. It makes me look to harsh I think. So I love using this produt, with or with out full on glam brows. When I want that more natural look I will use this product to place my brows how I want them and they will stay all day, you can’t scratch the fleekness off with this magic in a bottle! This is a splurge, but its my most favorite brow product by far. Any brow gel will work,s but if you havent gotten on the brow gel band wagon you are seriously mistaken! get on that train ladies! You will love it!

IT Cosmetics Your Skin But Better CC+ Cream :

I am still on edge with this product, I want to really like it I am just not sure. It did make my favorites though because it has been the product I have been reaching for the most lately. I want to love this stuff I really do. I am just unsure, I like the coverage, it smells really nice, its like a foundation but not. (Which is super nice cause its starting to get warmer) The biggest flaw I find in this CC+ cream on me is that it breaks up, and smears all over my face. I don’t know if I need to find a better primer or what but even when I set it it will still bleed and crease and its super annoying!  I am keeping this in my favorites though because it is amazing for the first few hours it stays in place, it has a beautiful dewy finish, and over all is amazing… for the first few hours. I am not giving up on this stuff yet! I am convinced when I find the right combo of primer and this foundation it WILL work!

The Balm Mary- Lou Manizer:

I love love love love LOVE this stuff, if there was another word for love I’d use it because love does not even compare to how I feel about this highlighter, its that good. It’s SUPER pigmented so a little glows a long way (ha get it?)  This stuff is fantastic. If you are looking for a subtle “glow from within” this product can do that but use barely any! but if you want that BAM people in space can see my glow this highlighter is for you! just avoid flash photography ( you might blind someone) I will literally drench myself in highlighter in summer hah! I think there is nothing prettier than dewy glowy fresh skin. I use this highlighter to strobe as well. I will apply different highlight products and I will top off with a few sweeps of this stuff and it just is so pretty I really really really recommend this product!

Urban Decay Eye Primer Potion- Original

I like this stuff, a lot. I have always used Mac Paint Pot for my eye shadow primer than it started creasing, and drying out my eyelids super bad, gross right? and concealer just wasn’t cutting it. Than I heard some beauty bloggers talk about this little gem, so I figured I’d give it a try! I am super impressed with it so far, I like that it has a matte finish instead of metalic like the Mac one I use to have. I’m so glad I found this little product! It’s changed my eye shadow game and my make up stays all day, and doesn’t give me grease crease. Yay!

Well ladies, these are just a few of my favorite things! I hope you enjoyed this little recap on my favorite products and I hope you decide to try some, you won’t be disappointed!

Until next time,

xoxoxoxoxo,

Cari
