3 Ways to Wear Distressed Denim

Hey hey beauties! It’s fashion Friday and today we are going to be talking about distressed denim. When I was a kid I loved distressed denim, like I was obsessed haha! My family would always tease me “what’s wrong with your pants? “There are holes in them” thinking they were so funny. I’m sure you can all relate to the uncle who loves to crack corny dad jokes haha!

Distressed denim has seriously made a comeback, and honestly I don’t know if it’s going away any time soon. Which I’m totally okay with haha! There are so many ways you can wear these jeans and feel absolutely fabulous. If you still aren’t convinced, I get it.  I was there, too. I didn’t want to buy anything that was distressed; I mean come on, now that’s so 2008. Well after about 6th months of pinning adorable ripped jeans, I caved and bought a pair. So I have faith I can lead  you into the light and than you can decide for yourself.

Casual Slay

This is usually the way I love to wear distressed denim: white converse,a flowy top, and of course a flannel tied around the waist. It wouldn’t be street style without that 90’s Grunge feel.

Fabulously Feminine

This is perfect for a date night or possibly even a Casual Friday day at work. As long as your distressed jeans aren’t overly distressed, I truly believe you can get away with this look! To achieve this look all you need is a nice blouse, your statement jeans, and some lace-up flats!

Haute Hipster

This look honestly speaks to my soul. I believe I am a true hipster girl at heart. Something about the almost boho, yet trendy and classic look just gives me all the best feels ha! To achieve this look you are going to want a big sweater, a trendy top (I chose my criss-cross v neck from Forever 210), a belt, minimal accessories, a fedora, and some cute shoes to top it off! I chose these chunky grey booties from Lucky. I forgot how much I love these shoes hah!
